Abstract:
An array substrate (431) and a liquid crystal display. The liquid crystal display comprises an upper polarizer and a lower polarizer (41, 42), the polarization directions of which are perpendicular to each other. The polarization directions of the two polarizers (41, 42) are a first direction and a second direction respectively. The array substrate (431) comprises multiple pixel units (51). Each pixel unit (51) comprises a metal line (512) for providing a voltage. The metal line (512) extends in a stepped configuration in a third direction different from the first direction and the second direction, so that the included angle between the extension direction of the metal line (512) and the first direction or the second direction is smaller than a preset value. In this way, the dark state light leakage can be reduced, and the contrast ratio can be increased.
