Abstract:
An array substrate (40) and a manufacturing method, and a liquid crystal display panel. The manufacturing method for the array substrate (40) comprises: manufacturing a first metal layer (11) on a substrate (10); performing an etching process on the first metal layer (11) by using a first photomask (32), so as to form a gate electrode (111) and a common electrode (112); successively manufacturing a gate insulation layer (12), an active layer and a second metal layer (15) on the first metal layer (11); and performing an etching process on the second metal layer (15) and the active layer by using a second photomask (34), so as to form a source electrode (151), a drain electrode (152) and a pixel electrode (153). Only two photomasks are needed during the process of manufacturing the array substrate (40), such that the production efficiency is improved, and the production cost of products is reduced.
