Abstract:
An array substrate and a manufacturing method therefor, and a display apparatus. The array substrate comprises a base substrate (101); a first metal layer (110), positioned on the base substrate (101); a first insulating layer (103), positioned on the side of the first metal layer (110) furthest from the base substrate (101); a second metal layer (120), positioned on the side of the first insulating layer (103) furthest from the base substrate (101); and a second insulating layer (104), positioned on the side of the second metal layer (120) furthest from the base substrate (101); the array substrate comprises a display area (180) and a peripheral area (190) surrounding the display area (180), the first metal layer (110) in the peripheral area comprising a plurality of signal lines (102), the second insulating layer (104) in the peripheral area (190) comprising at least one recessed groove (130) overlapping at least two signal lines (102) amongst the plurality of signal lines (102), and the second metal layer in the peripheral area (190) comprising a metal strip (150); in the area wherein the recessed groove (130) overlaps the signal lines (102), the orthographic projection of the signal lines (102) on the base substrate (101) falls into the orthographic projection of the metal strip (150) on the basis substrate (101). The present array substrate can avoid the problem of signal line short-circuits caused by metal residue in the recessed groove formed in the insulating layer, thereby improving product yield.
