Abstract:
An array substrate and a preparation method, a display panel and a display device thereof. The array substrate comprises: a base substrate (101); a grid line (102) and a data line (103) which are fixed on the base substrate (101), the grid line (102) and the data line (103) crossing to define a pixel region (104); a pixel electrode (106) and a common electrode (107) which are fixed in the pixel region (104); both the pixel electrode (106) and the common electrode (107) are perpendicular to the base substrate (101), are protrudingly fixed on said base substrate (101), and are also provided opposite each other; after a voltage is applied to the pixel electrode (106) and the common electrode (107), an electric field parallel to the base substrate (101) may be generated between opposing surfaces of the pixel electrode (106) and the common electrode (107). Applying the pixel electrode and the common electrode of said structure in a plane conversion display mode may make distribution of the parallel electric field more uniform, increase light transmittance and improve response speed of the display panel.
