Abstract:
The arsenic absorption-inhibiting agent according to the present invention is to be mixed into soil in which an agricultural crop is planted, whereby inhibits the absorption of arsenic by the agricultural crop in this soil. This arsenic absorption inhibitor is a granule having iron as the main component and contains phosphorus and sulfur, and satisfies formula (1) where [T. Fe] mass% denotes the total iron content and [M. Fe] mass% denotes the content of metallic iron: 0 ≤ [T. Fe] - [M. Fe] ≤ 3.5 ... (1).
