Abstract:
Preventives/remedies for arteriosclerosis containing as the active ingredient compounds represented by general formula (1), potential optically active isomers thereof, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts of the same. In said formula (1) R?1� represents hydrogen or acyl; R?2� represents lower alkyl; R?3� represents hydrogen or lower alkyl; and R?4�, R?5� and R?6� represent each hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or aryl, or R?2� and R?4� may form together with the oxygen atom a furan or dihydrofuran ring, and R?5� and R?6� may form together cycloalkyl on which at least one methylene is optionally substituted by oxygen, sulfur or alkylated nitrogen to give a heterocycle.
