Abstract:
In the article feeding mechanism of a vertical type bag-making and packaging machine, clogging of packaging subject articles in a tube is suppressed. The bag-making and packaging machine comprises an approximately cylindrical section (11), a guide member (10), a tube (21) and a funnel-shaped funnel (22). The approximately cylindrical section (11) extends vertically. The guide member (10) connects with the approximately cylindrical section (11) along an edge line (12). The guide member (10) guides a film (F), which is a packaging material coming from behind, such that the film (F) moves downward along the approximately cylindrical section (11). A tube (21) is inserted into the approximately cylindrical section (11). The funnel (22) connects with the tube (21) along a joint line (23), extends vertically from the tube (21), and receives a packaging subject article falling down. The joint line (23) is located above the edge line (12). And, the difference in level between the joint line (23) and the edge line (12) is greater on the back side than on the front side opposite to the back side.
