Abstract:
Provided is an article identification device (10), comprising: an article distinguishing information acquisition unit (110) which acquires article distinguishing information about an article; an image acquisition unit (120) which acquires an image of an appended object which is appended to the article; a group distinguishing information acquisition unit (130) which, by processing the image, acquires group distinguishing information which distinguishes a group with which the article is associated; and an article information acquisition unit (140) which acquires article information which corresponds to a combination of the acquired group distinguishing information and the acquired article distinguishing information.
