Abstract:
The article management assistance device: sets coordinates indicating the position of an observation point in a space containing a plurality of article storage locations where articles are stored, and sets the direction of observation from the observation point; obtains the coordinates of an article retrieving port of an article storage location within a predetermined range based on the position of the observation point and the observation direction; obtains information relating to the articles stored in the article storage location corresponding to the article retrieving port for which the coordinates were obtained; converts the obtained coordinates of the article retrieving port to coordinates on an image corresponding to the line of sight from the observation point; generates an image which displays the information relating to the articles stored in the article storage location corresponding to the article retrieving port for which the coordinates were obtained in association with the position of the converted coordinates; and displays the generated image.
