Abstract:
[Problem] To more efficiently manage an article than in the past when the article is disposed in a storage device. [Solution] One embodiment of the present invention is an article management system including: an article to which a first tag and a first power feeding unit are mounted; a storage device which includes a plurality of partitions and to which a second tag and a second power feeding unit are mounted for each partition; and a communication device which wirelessly communicates with the first tag and the second tag. The first power feeding unit feeds power to the first tag according to the movement of a first movable unit, and the second power feeding unit feeds power to the second tag according to the movement of a second movable unit. When the article is stored in any one partition, the first movable unit of the article contacts and moves with the second movable unit of a storage destination partition in which the article is stored, the first tag of the article transmits article identification information to the communication device, and the second tag of the storage destination partition transmits partition identification information to the communication device. The transmitted article identification information and partition identification information are associated with each other.
