Abstract:
The disclosed article management system strengthens management functionality of a virtual ID to reliably perform processing of an article. A line device (12) for performing carrying or manufacturing of an article (14) is configured from carrier devices (k, l, m, and n), processing devices (A, B, and C), and a computer (16) controlling the devices. The computer (16) is provided with check means (34) for checking the content of a file against data (b) received from the processing devices (A, B, and C). If the content of the file is correct, the content of the file and the received data (b) match, and if an error has occurred in the content of the file due to some influence, a mismatch occurs. By performing a check against the data (b), it is possible to periodically monitor content of the processing devices (A, B, and C).
