The present application discloses an article recommendation method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium; the article recommendation method provided in an embodiment of the present application can provide a user with a consignment recommendation when the user fills in a consignment, which reduces time spent for the user to fill in a shipping document, and when a recommended target article has been determined, amendment on a shipping fluctuation value for each candidate article is performed by means of an average shipping volume of the candidate articles, and overall fluctuation values that can more accurately represent changes in shipping volumes over time are obtained; the present invention solves the problem where shipping fluctuation values of a small sample of candidate articles are unable to accurately represent changes in shipping volume over time, and a target article obtained is more accurate. Additionally, a target article to be recommended can be determined without referencing information of a specific user, and therefore consignment recommendation fill-in cold starting can be implemented.
