Abstract:

An article rental system (100) comprising: a storage unit for storing, in association with an identification ID for a user (2), setting information for a first article (1) that has been set by the user (2); and a rental reception unit for receiving from the user (2) a rental application for a second article (3) of the same type as the first article (1), in association with the identification ID for the user (2). The rental reception unit receives the rental application for the second article (3) and adds to the rental application the setting information for the first article (1) that has been set by the user (2) having the same identification ID stored in the storage unit.
