Abstract:
Provided are a simple and inexpensive method and device for making it possible to easily differentiate between and sort unsorted articles, with the articles being close at hand. All articles (2) in an inspection area (1) are imaged with a camera (3), and the captured image is subjected to image processing using a computer (4) to determine standards for all of the articles (2). When any one or more target standards are set, markers (5) are projected from a projector (6) and shown on all of the articles (2) which belong to the target standards. The markers (5) are distinguished by a brightness difference and/or color difference, and each marker has a shape identical to or closer to the shape of the articles (2).
