Abstract:
An article sterilization, disinfection and storage device and method for sterilizing, disinfecting and storing an article by contacting the article with ozone gas, carbon dioxide gas and nitrogen gas are provided. This article sterilization, disinfection and storage device is provided with a gas supply means (10) which supplies ozone gas and carbon dioxide gas, nitrogen gas, or a gas mixture of carbon dioxide gas and nitrogen gas; and an article cover member (20) which internally accommodates the article (100) and which forms a space in which the gas from the gas supply means (10) is sealed internally. By filling the article cover member (20) with ozone gas and, after a fixed time, contacting the article (100) with carbon dioxide gas or nitrogen gas, the article (100) is sterilized, disinfected and stored.
