Abstract:

Disclosed is article storage equipment wherein a passive RFID tag (T), which stores the identification information of an article storage container (U), is attached to the outer periphery of the article storage container (U) at a position which overlaps with the upper part of a planar body (11) for mounting containers when the article storage container (U) is mounted in a storage space. A control means (H) is configured so that when a command for an article confirmation process is made, an RFID tag reader (D) reads the identification information from the RFID tag (T) attached to the article storage container (U) which is stored in the storage space, resulting in an article mounting body (8) being set to a protruding state wherein the article mounting body (8) protrudes to an unloading height, after which the article mounting body (8) is elevated to a reading target height (B3) which is higher than the unloading height by the amount of elevation required for a reading, and then the article mounting body (8) is lowered to the unloading height and stepped down to a step down state so that a reading operation process which controls the operation of a conveying means can be executed.
