Abstract:

There is provided an article temperature management system for recording and managing a temperature of an article and a temperature measurement time as temperature history information according to the time elapse. The article temperature management system includes: storage means for storing identification information on an article for each of the articles; read means having communication means provided on an article, extracting the identification information attached to the article itself or a package of the article in non-contact way, and transmitting the information to a network; temperature measurement means arranged on the read means or in the vicinity of the read means for measuring the temperature of the article and having transmission means for transmitting the temperature information to the network; and information storage means for receiving the identification information and the temperature information on the article via the network and storing them. Thus it is possible to provide a practical article temperature management system which records temperature history information on an article after production and can manage the usable period of the article.
