Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] An article transfer device that has a hopper for receiving an article that
fall from above and discharging it downward, and a packaging device and a measurement
device that are provided with the article transfer device. In the article transfer
device, jumping of the article in the hopper is prevented, and also, a reduction
in discharge speed of the article, damage to the article, and clogging of the hopper
with the article are prevented. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In receiving an
article falling from above, the hopper is moved downward with its bottom closed.
This reduces the collision speed between the article and the hopper bottom.
Also, downward acceleration is applied to the article to be discharged by opening
the hopper bottom while moving the hopper downward.
