Abstract:
This article transfer device is provided with: a robot hand that transfers an article gripped by a gripping unit; and a control unit that controls the actions of the robot hand so as to insert the gripping unit in an article region, in which the article is disposed, to grip the article and transfer the gripped article to a transfer destination. The control unit controls the actions of the robot hand so that after an opening/closing action, which involves opening the gripping unit after first closing the gripping unit, is executed at least one time, the gripping unit is closed so as to grip the article of a predetermined amount.
