Abstract:
An article transfer facility (100) equipped with a transfer device (3) for performing a first operation for retrieving an article (W) held in a first container (C1) from the first container (C1), and a second operation for loading the article (W) retrieved from the first container (C1) into a second container (C2), and also equipped with a tilting device (5) for supporting the second container (C2) at a second work position (P2), wherein: the second container (C2) has a rectangular placement surface (S) on which the articles (W) are placed, and is formed in a box shape in which the upper surface thereof is open; and the tilting device (5) supports the second container (C2) in a tilted state in a manner such that a target corner (Sct), which is one corner among a plurality of corners (Sc) on the placement surface (S), is positioned lower than are the other corners (Sc).
