Abstract:
In order to minimize the collection of articles which differ from those which were specified when collecting articles using an article transport vehicle from a plurality of storage units for storing articles, an article transport vehicle (3) is equipped with a control unit (15) and a weight detection unit (18) for detecting the total weight (W) of the articles supported by a support part (12) for supporting articles (B) retrieved from a storage unit (1). The control unit (15) reports error information upon determining that a target article has not been correctly retrieved when the added weight (ΔW), which is the added portion of the total weight (W) when the article (B) is newly supported by the support part (12), falls outside a specified range (WL, WH) corresponding to the weight (BW) of the target article, which is the article (B) to be retrieved from the storage unit (1).
