Abstract:
Provided is an article for wearing wherein leakage of bodily fluids is prevented and there is no impairment of wearability or external appearance. Elastic crotch strips (43) attached to the crotch piece (40) of the diaper (10) are formed from multiple elastic threads that extend in the vertical (Y) direction. Front and rear waist pieces (20, 30) are joined to the crotch piece (40) via front and rear join regions (50, 60). The front join region (50) intersects a first and second end edge (51, 52), forming a two-side edge (53) that extends diagonally in the vertical (Y) direction. To the outside of the two-side edge (53) in the horizontal (X) direction, there is a non-join region (54) where the crotch piece (40) and the front waist piece (20) are not joined. In the front waist piece (20), elastic front waist strips (28) extend in the horizontal (X) direction from one front waist edge (26) to the other. The elastic crotch strips (43) extend in the vertical (Y) direction from the front crotch end edge (44) to the rear crotch end edge (45). In the front join region (50), the elastic waist strips (28) and the elastic crotch strips (43) intersect, in effect, and are connected to each other.
