Abstract:
The invention relates to an articulated coolant pipe for supplying coolant to corresponding machining points of machine tools, namely tools and grinding wheels. Said pipe consists of two pipe elements and an articulated pipe connection which interconnects the two pipe elements (1,22;31,52) in such a way that they can be adjusted, fixed and sealed. The invention is characterised in that a sealing sleeve (13,43) is received in a conical recess (3,39) of a threaded nipple (3,33) in order to seal the articulated connection between the two pipe elements (1,22;31,52) in such a way that it can withstand high pressure. Said sleeve is compressed by means of a spherical element (20,50) formed on the associated front side of the pipe element (22,52), by tightening the associated union nut (8).
