Title:
ARTIFICIAL FIBROIN FIBERS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/194261
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide artificial fibroin fibers that can be produced safely and that shrink sufficiently as a result of being brought into contact with water and becoming moist. These artificial fibroin fibers comprise a modified fibroin and have a shrinkage rate of 2% or more as defined by the formula indicated below. Shrinkage rate = {1 – (length of artificial fibroin fibers that have become moist after being brought into contact with water below the boiling point/length of artificial fibroin fibers prior to being brought into contact with water below the boiling point)} × 100 (%)
