Abstract:
Provided are artificial hair fibers having shape memory and a shape restoration function, artificial hair fibers having excellent flame resistance, and artificial hair fibers having a low gloss appearance. As a result of the present invention, artificial hair fibers comprising a resin composition including at least one type of polyamide, and fulfilling at least one condition out of (1) to (3) are provided. (1) A modulus of elasticity for the fibers of 2,400-3,000 N/mm2; (2) a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of the polyamide of 65,000-150,000 and a modulus of elasticity for the fibers of 500-15,000 N/mm2; (3) a modulus of elasticity for the fibers of 500-15,000 N/mm2 and the resin composition including 5-20 parts by mass microparticles per 100 parts by mass polyamide.
