Abstract:

An embodiment of the present invention provides an artificial intelligence apparatus for interconverting text and speech, the artificial intelligence apparatus comprising: a memory which stores a plurality of Text-To-Speech (TTS) engines; and a processor which obtains image data including text, determines a speech style corresponding to the text, generates speech corresponding to the text by using a TTS engine corresponding to the determined speech style among the plurality of TTS engines, and outputs the generated speech.
