Abstract:
An artificial intelligence laundry handling apparatus, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a door which comprises an outer cover and an inner glass, and opens/closes a laundry inlet; a gasket which is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the laundry inlet; a door capturing sensor which is disposed so as to face the inner glass and acquires a door image; a gasket capturing sensor which acquires a gasket image including one area of the gasket; and a processor which classifies the state of the door on the basis of the door image, acquires a gasket contamination level on the basis of the gasket image, and determines whether inner cleaning for an area including the inside of a drum is necessary on the basis of at least one among the result of classifying the state of the door and the acquired gasket contamination level.
