Abstract:
A system and a method for map matching are disclosed. The system may perform the method to: obtain a GPS track including a plurality of positions (510); for each position of the plurality of positions, obtain at least one candidate match, each of the at least one candidate match including the position and a road segment within a first predetermined distance from the position (520); for each of the at least one candidate match, determine a measurement probability based on at least one of a trained supervised learning model or a road completion model (530); determine a route that matches with the GPS track based on the measurement probabilities (540); and direct a user terminal to display a matching between a current location associated with the user terminal and the determined route (550).
