Abstract:
Disclosed is an artificial intervertebral disc (100), comprising a first endplate (110) and a second endplate (120), the first endplate (110) comprising a stacked first wear-resisting layer (112) and a first repair layer (114), that side of the first wear-resisting layer (112) which is far away from the first repair layer (114) forming an arc convex surface (1122); the second endplate (120) comprising a stacked second wear-resisting layer (122) and a second repair layer (124), that side of the second wear-resisting layer (122) which is far away from the second repair layer (124) forming an arc concave surface (1222), the arc convex surface (1122) butting against the arc concave surface (1222) in a sliding manner; wherein the material of the first wear-resisting layer (112) comprises poly(ether ether ketone) and first reinforcing fibers mixed in poly(ether ether ketone), the material of the first repair layer (114) comprises poly(ether ether ketone) and degradable first active bone repair material mixed in poly(ether ether ketone), the material of the second wear-resisting layer (122) comprises poly(ether ether ketone) and second reinforcing fibers mixed in poly(ether ether ketone), and the material of the second repair layer (124) comprises poly(ether ether ketone) and degradable second active bone repair material mixed in poly(ether ether ketone). The abovementioned artificial intervertebral disc (100) has a relatively long life after being implanted into the human body. Furthermore, also provided is a method for preparing the artificial intervertebral disc.
