Abstract:
The present invention relates to artificial marble and a preparation method thereof. The artificial marble of the present invention has a natural appearance pattern as water flows, and thus can show texture equal to or superior to that of natural marble. In addition, the present invention prepares artificial marble by charging an uncured marble resin sheet or block into a mold and press molding the same, thereby providing artificial marble having prominent mechanical strength and gloss characteristics and containing no bubble inside by press molding under low temperature and pressure conditions.
