Abstract:
In order to prevent galling, i.e., adhesion of a dynamic pressure gas bearing, when a motor shaft and sleeve swing and contact each other, increasing the contact friction torque of the dynamic pressure gas bearing, and in order to make approximately constant the total number of rotations of rotating body with respect to the motor case body before and after the swinging and contacting, to stably supply air to the lungs of an organism, this motor (100) is characterized by being provided with auxiliary bearings (M171, M172) which are arranged in series with the dynamic pressure gas bearing (M130), and a contactless detent torque generation mechanism (M180) which is arranged in parallel with the auxiliary bearings and suppresses rotation of the auxiliary bearings, and is characterized by setting (Ta+Tka) > (Tb + Tdmax) > (Ta), wherein Ta is defined as the viscous friction torque of the dynamic pressure gas bearing during rotation, Tka is the contact friction torque which may cause damage to the dynamic pressure gas bearing, Tb is the rotational friction torque of the auxiliary bearings, and Tdmax is the maximum torque generated in a state in which rotation of the auxiliary bearing is suppressed by the contactless detent torque generation mechanism.
