Abstract:
An artificial rock climbing system may comprise: a vertical tunnel; an artificial rock wall provided on a wall surface of the vertical tunnel to enable rock climbing by a user; a safety lift installed so as to be able to ascend and descend in the height direction of the vertical tunnel; an actuator for elevating the safety lift; a position sensor for measuring a relative distance between the safety lift and the user in the vertical tunnel; and a controller for adjusting the elevating height of the safety lift through the actuator so that the relative distance measured by the position sensor satisfies a preset safety distance range.
