Abstract:
Provided is an aryl amidine compound that has excellent bactericidal activity, is highly safe, can be synthesized in an industrially advantageous manner, and is represented by formula (II) or the like. Also provided is a bactericidal agent or plant disease controlling agent that contains the aryl amidine compound as an active ingredient. In the formula, G indicates a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom, Q indicates a single bond, -O-, -S-, -SO-, -SO2-, -N(R9)-, or the like, X and Z each independently indicate an alkylene group or the like, Y indicates -N(-A-R7)- or the like, W indicates a single bond or -N(R8)-, R1-R6 each independently indicate a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group, a heterocyclyl group, or the like, R30 indicates a C1-6 alkyl group, and p is any integer from 0 to 4.
