Abstract:
There is still a great amount of damage by pests and in production of agricultural crops, horticultural crops, and the like. The development of a novel agricultural/horticultural insecticide is desired due to factors such as the emergence of pests resistant to existing chemicals. The present invention provides: a compound represented by a general formula (1) or a salt thereof; an agricultural/horticultural insecticide containing the compound as an active ingredient; and a method for use thereof. (1) \{In the formula, X and Y represent an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, R1 represents a hydrogen atom or the like, R2 represents a substituent phenyl group or the like, R3 represents a hydrogen atom or the like, R4 represents a phenyl group or the like.\}
