ASEISMIC DAMPER FOR WOODEN HOUSE FORMED OF SUPERPLASTIC ALLOY

An aseismic damper formed of a superplastic alloy used for quakeproof reinforcement by fitting mainly to the joint part between the column and the beam of a wooden house, comprising a narrow deformation part (31) having a generally parallel width in the surface inner direction of a column/beam frame and curved in an arc shape and support parts (30) at both ends thereof having widths increased to non-deformable sizes. The deformation part is formed by combining the aseismic damper (3) made of the superplastic alloy with mounting metal fittings (4) fixedly mounting the support parts (30) at both ends to the joint part between the column and the beam of the house. The deformation part (31) is so formed that its cross sectional area and section modulus are gradually increased from the end part to the center part thereof.
