Abstract:
Provided is a manufacturing method for an asphalt mixture that can improve stability. This asphalt mixture manufacturing method uses an asphalt composition including lignin and asphalt and comprises: a first mixing step S1 in which the lignin which is at no more than a prescribed temperature, which is the glass transition temperature of lignin, and asphalt which is at no more than the prescribed temperature are mixed; a holding step S2 in which, after the first mixing step S1, the mixture is held at no more than the prescribed temperature for a prescribed time period; and a second mixing step S3 in which at least the asphalt composition obtained after the first mixing step S1 and the holding step S2 and an aggregate are mixed.
