Abstract:
An asphalt finisher (100) is provided with: a tractor (1); a hopper (2); a conveyor (CV) by which a paving material in the hopper (2) is fed to the rear side of the tractor (1); a screw (SC) that spreads and lays the paving material fed by the conveyor (CV) on the rear side of the tractor (1); and a screed (3) that levels the paving material laid wide by the screw (SC) on the rear side of the screw (SC). The screed (3) includes a main screed (30), a left extendable screed (31L), and a right extendable screed (31R) that are arranged shifted from each other so as not to overlap one another in the vehicle length direction. The right extendable screed (31R) is supported by a top right guide shaft (63TR) and a bottom right guide shaft (63BR). The top right guide shaft (63TR) and the bottom right guide shaft (63BR) are fixed at both ends so as not to rotate, and one ends that are fixed so as to prevent rotation are disposed within the width of the main screed (30).
