Abstract:
An assembled-battery voltage equalization apparatus comprises: equalization switches (SW1-SW3) that are associated with a battery block (BT1-BT3, BT11-BT13) constituting an assembled battery (23, 23a); an equalization control unit (15) and an equalization diagnosing unit (14). The equalization diagnosing unit acquires both an equalization control signal output from the equalization control unit and an equalization detection signal detected at each of the respective connection points (P1-P3) of the equalization switches. The equalization diagnosing unit then compares the equalization control signal with the equalization detection signal, and diagnoses, on the basis of the comparison result, whether the equalization in the battery block has normally been performed. For example, if the equalization detection signal matches the equalization control signal, it is determined that the equalization is normal. Otherwise, it is determined that the equalization is abnormal.
