Abstract:
Assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model comprises a set of elements including shape-generating elements, extension elements and fixing members, which have the ability of serial interconnection without the use of any adhesive materials, just forming together a static or movable structure, wherein a fixing member is of needlelike shape with the end tapering and a round shape of the cross section, while the extension elements are of rectangular shape at the end faces. What is new is that the building kit comprises at least two fastening elements, at least one shape-generating element, three extension elements and at least three fixing members. Thus, the fastening elements are designed as shape-generating elements, and have at least four circular holes, three of which are made at the vertices of the equilateral triangle, and the fourth one - in the orthocenter of this triangle. Dimensions of circular holes are 5-15% smaller in size than the cross section diameter of fixing members.

Claim

Assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model comprises a set of elements including shape-generating elements, extension elements and fixing members, which have the ability of serial interconnection without the use of any adhesive materials, just forming together a static or movable structure, and at that the fixing member is of needlelike shape with the end tapering and a round shape of the cross section, while the extension elements are of rectangular shape at the end faces, which is characterized in that the set comprises at least two fastening elements, at least one shape-generating element, three extension elements and at least three fixing members, thus, fastening elements are designed as shape-generating elements and have at least four circular holes, three of which are made at the vertices of the equilateral triangle, and the fourth one - in the orthocenter of this triangle in sizes, that are 5-15% smaller in size than the cross section diameter of the fixing members, and at least three holes with edgings performed on extensions of orthocentric segments of the equilateral triangle that are 5-15% smaller in size than dimension of end faces of the extension elements, wherein around the said holes at least one notch is made which repeats in a form the perimeter portion of the hole, around which it is made, and a shape-generating element has at least four circular holes, three of which are made at the vertices of an equilateral triangle, while the fourth one - in the orthocenter of this triangle, as well as at least three holes with edgings, which are made on extensions of orthocentric segments of the equilateral triangle, and at that the orthocenter of the mentioned triangle is the center of the circle circumscribed around the fastening element or the shape-generating element, while a distance between triangle orthocenter and any its vertex is identical at each of the shape-generating and fastening elements of the unit (assemblage), and the unit itself is formed by insertion into the holes with edgings of at least one fastening element perpendicular thereto of one end face of the extension elements, while the other end face - into the holes with edgings of at least one shape-generating element, and into the holes with edgings of at least the second fastening element with a possibility of the assemblage further fixing by insertion of fixing members into corresponding round holes.

Description:
Assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model

The invention relates to the field of game and gift design sets (building kits), models with the use of which are produced by assembling (joining-up) and adjustment (erection) from sheet material and connecting elements. Three-dimensional building kits assigned for children may serve as such models.

The famous "Dynamic model toy produced and assembled from sheet material" - that is a dynamic model toy made and assembled as a framework basis. At least one of modeling components is installed on the frame; elements of connection and drivegear are located between each component's transmission and modeling components. The framework contains at least a frame, component parts of the frame and connecting elements, joined-up by stub tenons or other connecting elements as a frame. The drive mechanism is of crank type. (National application number CN20082127631 U 20080717, Application number under Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) CN201239540 (Y) of 05/20/2009, IPC: A63H13/00; A63H31/00; A63H7/00) [1].

This building kit makes it possible to design only simple dynamic structures using rather complex procedure of details connection and crank mechanism. Design features of the model units ensure erection of only limited number of simple movable models. Assembling the elements in a spatial structure has shortcomings, such as lack of reliability that can cause disruption of the structure.

Well-known is a useful model "Assemblage of some moving parts of mechanical model that are able to move around an axis." This Assemblage of some moving parts of mechanical model that are able to move around one axis comprises the axis and parts of certain interconnected moving elements. The assemblage comprises the first and the second group of component parts, where the first group of component parts comprises at least two separate parts, and each of these individual details of the first group has a central hole assigned for insertion an axis into this center hole, and at that each of at least two separate parts of the first group has at least two connecting rectangular holes arranged symmetrically around the center hole in each individual detail of the first group, and herein the second group of component parts comprises at least two separate external details that are made symmetrical in pairs, and each of these individual details of the second group has joggles along the edgings, and also each of these individual details of the second group has at least one joggle in its central part, and herein the first and the second group of component parts are interconnected by pre-assembling of individual details of the second group, while forming during this assembling a central axial gap between end faces of the joggles of individual details of the second group, further insertion of joggles located on the lower edgings of the individual details of the second group into at least two rectangular connecting holes one of individual details of the first group and subsequent insertion of other joggles located on the edgings of individual details of the second group into at least two rectangular connecting holes of another individual detail of the first group, and subsequent insertion of the axis into the center hole in one of the individual details of the first group, the central axial gap which is formed between the ends of joggles of individual details of the second group and into the center hole of the other individual detail of the first group. (Utility model patent No. 95685 U, IPC: A63H 33/00, published on 25/12/2014, Bui. No. 24) [2], This analog has a complex assembling procedure for movable structure assemblage since it provides the pre-assembling of the central structure elements that create a central passage by their end parts necessary for further connection with other structure elements by fixing details. Before use of fixing details the assemblage has no stable structure and can fall apart. The disadvantage of this analog is also the presence of a gap (free movement) between the connected elements and loosening of the structure assemblage (unit) that reduces the reliability of the mechanism as a whole.

The closest analogue to the invention is a "Playing building kit designed for construction of sophisticated mechanical three-dimensional models" that comprise static and moving parts without the use of any adhesive materials and any limitations in length, width and volume caused by sizes of fixing and connecting elements, which form a set of structural elements made of environmentally friendly materials. Set of the building kit elements includes shape-generating elements, extension elements and fixing members that have the ability of serial interconnection. These shape-generating elements have the same thickness and the desired shape. At least two of the shape-generating elements have at least one rectangular and/or circular hole; and/or at least one external groove and/or notch, which are located in layers and are able to be joined-up with each other with at least one fixing member, just forming together a static or movable structure. The fixing member is of a needlelike shape with end tapering and a round shape of cross-section, the diameter of which corresponds to the diameter of at least one round hole in the shape-generating elements. At least two extension elements are of rectangular shape at the end faces, which corresponds to the size of at least one rectangular hole in the shape-generating elements and have the ability to be inserted in the square holes perpendicular to the shape-generating elements and subsequent fastening with the last. Their thickness corresponds to the width of grooves and/or notches on the shape-generating elements (Utility model patent No. 104751U, IPC: A63N 33/00, published on 02/10/2016, Bui. No. 3) [3]. In the operation of the building kit there were revealed design deficiencies associated with loosening of the fixing members in the movable assemblages.

The invention is based on the task of simplifying assembling procedure for the unit of souvenir-collectible model, increasing reliability of the elements connection at creation of assembled units of mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model that comprise static and movable parts without the use of any adhesive materials due to new features, namely, through the introduction of new structural elements and assigning them a new interconnection with fixing members, thus the model is obtained without additional details and any adhesive substances. Technical result achieved - that is simplification of the assembling procedure by eliminating the necessity to upkeep by the user of assembled items before their final fixation, receiving the robust design of assembled units of mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model, preventing free movement between the connected elements, increased density and interconnection between elements of the assemblage at rotational movements, and accuracy of the assembled mechanism.

Summary of the invention

The problem is solved by the fact that the assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model comprises a set of elements including shape-generating elements, extension elements and fixing members, which have the ability of serial interconnection without the use of any adhesive materials, just forming together a static or movable structure, wherein the fixing member is of a needlelike shape with end tapering and a round shape of cross section, while the extension elements are of rectangular shape at the ends. What is new is that the building kit comprises at least two fastening elements, at least one shape-generating element, three extension elements and at least three fixing members. Thus, the fastening elements are designed as shape- generating elements, and have at least four circular holes, three of which are made at the vertices of the equilateral triangle, while the fourth one - in the orthocenter of this triangle. Dimensions of circular holes are 5-15% smaller in size than cross section diameter of the fixing members. In addition, the fastening elements have at least three holes with edgings performed on extensions of orthocentric segments of the equilateral triangle, and the holes are 5-15% smaller in size than dimension of end faces of the extension elements. And around the said holes at least one notch is made which repeats in a form the perimeter portion of the hole, around which it is made. The shape- generating element has at least four circular openings, three of which are performed at the vertices of an equilateral triangle, and the fourth one - in the orthocenter of the triangle, as well as at least three holes with edgings, which are made on an extension of the orthocentric segments of the equilateral triangle. The orthocenter of the mentioned triangle is the center of the circle circumscribed around the fastening element or the shape-generating element, while a distance between triangle orthocenter and any its vertex is identical at each of the shape-generating and fixing elements of the assemblage. The assemblage itself is formed by insertion into the holes with edgings of at least one fastening element perpendicular thereto of one end of extension elements, while the other end - into the holes with edgings of at least one shape-generating element and into the holes with edgings of at least the second fastening element with a possibility of the assemblage further fixinging by insertion of fixing members into corresponding round holes.

The design of the proposed assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir- collectible model is unified by a single creative concept, and enables to achieve the technical result.

The invention task was solved also due to the fact that there were proposed new structural elements, namely: fastening elements designed as shape-generating elements with at least four round holes, three of which are made at the vertices of equilateral triangle and the fourth one - in the orthocenter of this triangle. Such embodiment of the round holes enables centering of the assembled three-dimensional structure and weight of the assemblage with the use of fixing members that affects the uniformity of the unit rotation and the accuracy of the assembled mechanism. For example, at performing a shape-generating element or a fastening element in the form of a gear and using a number of assembled units of mechanism of mechanical souvenir- collectible model of different sizes, the embodiment of even conversion of rotary moment and rotating speed is achieved.

Implementation of holes in size that is 5-15% smaller than the cross section diameter of fixing members, and additional availability of at least one notch around the said holes, which repeats in a form the perimeter portion of the hole, around which it is made, ensure compensation of a minimum gap at fastening the assemblage with fixing members and provide more rigid fixation of the assembled unit. Implementation of holes smaller in size than the cross section diameter of fixing members in a different range: from 1 to 5 percent - is not enough to provide rigid fixation of the unit; from 15 percent and above - makes it impossible to insert a fixing member into the hole performed. So, the invented interval of sizes of the round holes is the optimal one to achieve the task.

The fastening elements have in addition at least three holes with edgings, which are formed on extensions of the orthocentric segments of the equilateral triangle. Such location of the executed holes and further insertion into them of the end faces of extension elements ensure balancing of rotating parts of the mechanism of assembled unit, which affects the uniformity of the assemblage rotation and the accuracy of the assembled mechanism. These holes are performed in size that is 5- 15% smaller than the end faces of the extension elements and are supplied in addition by at least one notch, which repeats in a form the perimeter portion of the hole, around which it is made. This ensures compensation during assembly of a minimum gap between the shape-generating element and extension elements, as well as relieve the stresses of material, and therefore ensures integrity and lack deformation of elements of the unit during its assembly and use. Implementation of holes with edgings smaller in size than dimension of end faces of the extension elements in a different range: from 1 to 5 percent -is not enough to provide rigid fixation of the unit; from 15 percent and above - makes it impossible to insert the extension element into the hole performed or will cause to fasteners damage and deformation. So, the invented interval of sizes of the holes with edgings is the optimal one to achieve the task.

Location of the round holes and holes with edgings described above with regard to that orthocenter of said equilateral triangle is the center of the circle circumscribing the fastener or shape-generating element ensures balancing of rotating parts of the mechanism of assembled unit, which affects the uniformity of the assemblage rotation and the accuracy of the assembled mechanism.

Ensuring equal distance between the triangle orthocenter and any its vertex at each of shape- generating elements and fixing members of the unit provides the possibility of matching round holes in the fixing members with respective round holes in the shape-generating elements, and fastening elements of the unit by insertion of the fixing members into their respective round holes. Moreover, it is provided by design of the elements of the assemblage and shape of the extension elements without additional user intervention in the procedure of round holes matching.

The assemblage structure, which is formed by consistently insertion into the holes with edgings of at least one fastening element perpendicular to it of one end face of extension element, while the other end face - into holes with edgings of at least one shape-generating element and into holes with edgings of at least the second fastening element, is a stable one. After performing these actions, the round holes in the shape-generating elements and fastening elements are arranged already with the possibility of further inserting into them of fixing members and the final fixation of the unit. Thus, structure of the unit does not collapse before its final fixing with the use of fixing members, which ensure convenience for the user during assembling the models of three- dimensional structures.

Together, these new features provide simplification of assembly process by eliminating need for user to hold collected items before their final fixation, thus ensuring the robust design of assembled units of mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model, preventing free movement between the connected elements, increasing density and the interconnection between elements of the unit at rotational movements, and accuracy of the assembled mechanism.

That way, the technical result is achieved by initiation of new features, namely through the implementation of new structural elements, form factor of the elements and providing their new interconnection with well-known elements that provides a new design of the assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model with new features.

As a result, there was created a new reliable system of connection of structural elements of mechanical souvenir-collectible model into the assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model that enables to provide simplification of the assembling procedure by eliminating the necessity to upkeep by the user of collected items before their final fixation, receiving robust design of assembled units of mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model, preventing free movement between the connected elements, increased density and the interconnection between elements of the assemblage at rotational movements, and accuracy of the assembled mechanism. At that, the fixing members used for rigid fixation of the assemblage components exercise functions of axial parts, where it is required by design solution.

For a more comprehensive understanding of these features and advantages, the following information is provided that confirms possibility of the invention implementation.

Industrial applicability of the present invention is characterized by drawings and description of assembling procedure for elements of the assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model according to certain design concepts.

Shape-generating, fastening and extension elements used in design of the proposed assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model can be made by burning with a laser of composite material in the form of laminated plywood, which consists of glued together three or more sheets of peeled veneer with mutually perpendicular arrangement of wood fibers in adjacent layers of thickness up to 4 mm with applied contours of details of the mechanical souvenir-collectible model. Given that laser made slots may have a thickness of 0.15 mm, while diameter of the round holes constitutes up to 2 mm, the fixing members can be made of wood, as an example - toothpicks. This is the most reasonable as of economic and environmental aspects.

Fig. 1 provides a partial list of shape-generating elements of the same thickness and different shapes, such as a wheel or gear. Fig. 2 provides a partial list of fastening elements designed as shape-generating elements of the same thickness and different shapes, such as a wheel or gear.

Fig. 3 provides a version of items assembling in the unit before its complete fastening and fixation.

Fig. 4 provides an example of the side view of the assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model, and the side view of the zoomed-in sectional view of the unit.

Assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model comprises a set of elements including shape-generating elements (1), extension elements (2) and fixing members (3), which have the ability of serial interconnection without the use of any adhesive materials, just forming together a static or movable structure, wherein the fixing member is of needlelike shape with the end tapering and a round shape of the cross section, while the extension elements (2) are of rectangular shape at the end faces, which is characterized in that the set comprises at least two fastening elements (4), at least one shape-generating element (1), three extension elements (2) and at least three fixing members (3), thus, fastening elements (4) are designed as shape-generating elements and have at least four circular holes, three of which are made at the vertices of the equilateral triangle (5), and the fourth one - in the orthocenter of this triangle (6) in sizes that are 5- 15% smaller than the cross section diameter of fixing members (3), and at least three holes with edgings (8) performed on extensions of orthocentric segments of the equilateral triangle that are 5- 15% smaller in size than dimension of end faces of the extension elements (2), wherein around the said holes (5, 6, 8) at least one notch (7, 9) is made which repeats in a form the perimeter portion of the hole (5, 6, 8), around which it is made, and a shape-generating element (1) has at least four circular holes, three of which are made at the vertices of an equilateral triangle (10), while the fourth one - in the orthocenter of this triangle (1 1), as well as at least three holes with edgings (12), which are made on extensions of orthocentric segments of the equilateral triangle, and at that the orthocenter of the mentioned triangle is the center of a circle (6, 1 1) circumscribed around the fastening element (4) or the shape-generating element (1), while a distance between triangle orthocenter (6, 1 1) and any its vertex is identical (5, 10) at each of the shape-generating (1) and fastening elements (4) of the assemblage, and the assemblage itself is formed by insertion into the holes with edgings (8) of at least one fastening element (4) perpendicular thereto of one end face of extension elements (2), while the other end - into the holes with edgings (1 1) of at least one shape- generating element (1), and into the holes with edgings (8) of at least the second fastening element (4) with a possibility of the assemblage further fixing by insertion of fixing members (3) into the corresponding round holes (5, 6, 10, 1 1).

Example of the invention embodiment with the addition of concomitant graphics.

Fig. 3 provides a version of the structural elements laying before their insertion into relevant holes, while in fig. 4 you can see the mounted and fixed assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model.

Assembling of the unit is performed in the following order: the user inserts into three holes with edgings (8) of one fastening element (4) in the shape of a wheel, perpendicular to it, three extension elements (2) with rectangular end faces, the user inserts other ends of extension elements into the holes with edgings (1 1) of the shape-generating element (1) in the shape of a gear and into the holes with edgings (8) of the second fastening element (4) in the shape of a wheel. Then he presses all items. The unit has a stable structure. Then, the user takes four fixing members (3) in the shape of toothpicks and stretches them through the holes: three toothpicks (3) are inserted and stretched through appropriate three round holes at the vertices of equilateral triangle (5) in the fastening element (4), and further - through round holes (10) at the vertices of an equilateral triangle in the shape-generating element (1) and through the corresponding round holes at three vertices of equilateral triangle (5) in the second fastening element (4), and a toothpick (3) is stretched through a round hole in orthocenter of equilateral triangle (6), which is the center of the circle circumscribing the first fastening element (4), a round hole in orthocenter of equilateral triangle (1 1), which is a center of the circle circumscribing the shape-generating element (1), and a round hole in orthocenter of equilateral triangle (6), which is a center of the circle circumscribing the second fastening element (4).

The design solution provides rotation of the unit around a central axis. To achieve this, the user breaks off protruding limbs of the fixing members (3) that stick out the outer edges of round holes (5) in fastening elements (4).

If the constructive solution provides rotation of the unit around three points, the user breaks off the limbs protruding fixing members (3) that stick out the outer edges of round holes (6) in fastening elements (4).

The proposed assemblage is implemented in collecting and assembling of volumetric, three- dimensional, miniature replicas or fantasy designs: structures, buildings, mechanisms, machinery, etc., in the form of gaming, decorative, souvenir or collectible mechanical models without the use of any adhesive materials; and it is a component of a set of structural elements made of environmentally friendly materials.

Implementation of the assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model extends the existing range of game design sets (building kits) and souvenir models, and it is suitable for production on an industrial scale.

The results of experimental tests of the assembled unit of a mechanism of mechanical souvenir-collectible model has confirmed achievement of the technical result.
