Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To facilitate installation of an annular seal to one end side of an outer ring. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An annular seal (8), tapered rollers (4), and a retainer (6) are arranged on the outer peripheral surface on the flange section (21) side of an inner shaft (2) to form an inner shaft assembly (Kn). An annular spacer (10) splittable in the circumferential direction is placed between the flange section (21) of the inner shaft (2) and the annular seal (8). With the annular spacer (10) supporting the annular seal (8), an outer ring (1) is pushed into the inner shaft assembly (Kn) to assemble the annular seal (8) to the outer ring (1), and then the annular spacer (10) is splitted and taken out.
