Abstract:
It is an object of the invention to efficiently perform power transmission by directly connecting a piston of an internal combustion engine to a linear reciprocating body of various kinds such as piston of a compressor. A cylinder (4a) of an internal combustion engine (E) and a cylinder (4b) of a compressor (C) are aligned with each other to be arranged on a straight line. An inner peripheral sun gear (8a) having a center (O) on the straight line is fixedly arranged in an intermediate position between the internal combustion engine (E) and the compressor (C). Provided is a planet gear (10) which engages with the inner peripheral sun gear (8a) to be able to rotate on its own axis and revolve and has a pitch diameter half a pitch diameter of the inner peripheral sun gear (8a). Provided is a crank member (14) having a shaft portion (14a) which is rotatable around the center (C). The planet gear (10) is rotatably supported at its center on a tip end of an arm (14b) of the crank member (14). A connecting rod (6) connecting the pistons (2a, 2b) to each other is provided and is pivotally connected at its intermediate portion to a shaft portion (12) provided on a peripheral side surface of the planet gear (10).
