Abstract:
Provided is an assembly method for a deep groove ball bearing 1, characterized in that: an inner ring 3 is inserted on the inside of an outer ring 2; the inner ring 3 is decentered in the radial direction with respect to the outer ring 2, thus forming a crescent-shaped cavity 22 between the inner ring 3 and the outer ring 2 into which balls 4 of a number that is one fewer than a filling number are inserted; a final ball 4 (9) is disposed between the already-inserted balls 4; the already-inserted balls 4 are brought into contact with track surfaces 7, 6 of the inner and outer rings 3, 2 on the narrowing side of the crescent-shaped cavity 22, and the final ball 4 (9) placed between the already-inserted balls 4 is inserted into the cavity 22 by applying a load that varies with respect to the outer ring 2 in the direction of the diameter passing through the center of the outer ring 2 and the center of the inner ring 3 decentered in the radial direction
