Abstract:

Rationalization and promotion of efficiency are intended for in design, manufacture and distribution in the industry of air cylinders with translation guides. An assembly part unit for air cylinders with translation guides characteristically includes a semi-standardized base member. The base member (1) is a lengthy body of aluminum material having a rectangular cross section and formed with fit grooves (1a) in a longitudinal direction. The assembly part unit can include a translation guide assembly part composed of a slider (2b) and a semi-standardized rail member (2a) fittingly mounted to the fit grooves, a cylinder bracket (4), a joint holder (5) and a joint connector (6), which connect a piston rod (3b) of an air cylinder (3) to a table plate (7), and the table plate, as well as a stopper block (8), a shock absorber (10) and a shock holder (9), if needed. A method of manufacturing an air cylinder of optional configuration with a translation guide uses the above unit, and comprises setting standardized parts and semi-standardized parts which can correspond to a translation guide, an air cylinder and so on, writing a desired total length, mount hole positions, kinds and the like of the semi-standardized parts on a display, completing drawings of the air cylinder with the translation guide by freely moving and combining marketed products with the standardized parts, and finishing a product on the basis of the drawings. A finished product is made by the method.
