Abstract:
An assembly (1) having a rim (2), a pneumatic tire (3) installed on the rim (2), and a sound suppression body (4) provided in a tire cavity (i) that is surrounded by the rim (2) and the pneumatic tire (3) and using a sponge material that extends in the circumferential direction of the tire. The sound suppression body (4) has a volume of 0.4 - 20% of the total volume of the tire cavity (i), is fixed to a cavity surface (2i or 3i) on the tire side or rim side of the tire cavity (i), and the height of the sound suppression body (4) from the cavity surface is equal to or less than 30 mm. Further, the sponge material of the sound suppression body (4) has hardness of 10 - 250 N, tensile strength of 70 kPa or higher, and specific gravity of 0.014 - 0.052.
