Abstract:
A tire/rim assembly that realizes easy production, low cost, high durability and
substantial reduction of road noise. In particular, the tire/rim assembly is
one characterized by having pneumatic tire (1), rim (2) and sponge member (4) disposed
in tire internal cavity (3) defined by the pneumatic tire (1) and the rim (2), which
sponge member (4) has a specific gravity of over 0.06 to 0.25 and/or an air permeability
of 5 cc/cm2/sec or below.
