Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to configure a retainer to serve also as a support structure for an input member and an output member without impairing the primary support function of coil springs, thereby rendering the input member and the output member each in a single-piece structure and enabling the number of parts to be reduced significantly. In the present invention, an input member (10) coupled to a drive source and an output member (12) coupled to a transmission are each constituted from a single-piece press-formed steel plate. Coil springs (14) are disposed to be elastically deformable in response to rotational fluctuations between the input member (10) and the output member (12). On both ends of each coil spring (14), retainers (16,18) for retaining the coil spring are fitted. The retainers (16, 18) are provided with a tongue-and-groove interlocking structure and a surface-to-surface abutting structure between axially opposing surfaces and radially opposing surfaces with respect to the input member (10) and the output member (12), and realize, by the retainers (16, 18) themselves, a support structure for the input member (10) and the output member (12).
