Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel system for easily carrying out bone surgery such as osteosynthesis surgery, joint replacement surgery, or vertebral column surgery according to a pre-surgical plan. The bone surgery assist device 1 according to the present invention includes a storage unit 10, a diagnostic image acquisition unit 11, a comparing unit 12, an image adjustment unit 13, and an output unit 14. The present invention is characterized in that: the storage unit 10 stores a three-dimensional simulation image of a pre-surgical plan for a patient's affected bone site; the three-dimensional simulation image is generated from a pre-surgical image including the affected bone site and a plurality of markers indicating reference positions in the patient's living body; the diagnostic image acquisition unit 11 acquires a two-dimensional image of the patient's affected bone site in surgery; the two-dimensional image includes the plurality of markers indicating the reference positions in the patient's living body; the comparing unit 12 compares a positional relationship between the markers in the three-dimensional simulation image against a positional relationship between the markers in the two-dimensional image; the image adjustment unit 13 adjusts the orientation of the three-dimensional simulation image such that the positional relationship between the markers in the three-dimensional simulation image matches that in the two-dimensional image; and the output unit 14 outputs the three-dimensional simulation image and the two-dimensional image.
