Abstract:
This assist device (12) for pulling out of a parking spot comprises: an assist control means (60) for performing assist control to change the steering angle (θ) of a vehicle (10) to a target steering angle (θtar); and a pulling out possibility determination means (58) for determining whether or not the vehicle (10) can pull out on the basis of the detection result of a forward obstacle (101) detected by forward detection means (91 to 94). If it is determined that the vehicle (10) can pull out, the assist control means (60) performs assist control to change the steering angle (θ) of the vehicle (10) from the target steering angle (θtar) to a neutral angle (θo) or a neutral vicinity angle (θnn).
