Abstract:
An assist device is provided with: a rotating body that raises a hand part (20) by winding wires (18, 19) extended downward from an arm part (2) and lowers the hand part (20) by paying out the wires (18, 19); an electric motor that rotationally drives the rotating body to the winding side and the pay-out side; and a rotation speed sensor that detects the rotation speed of the rotating body. On the basis of a value detected by the rotation speed sensor, the electric motor is operated to the winding side such that the rotating body rotates to the winding side at a set rotation speed that is previously set.
