Disclosed is an assist mechanism equipped with a striker which is provided to a door, and a receiving member which is provided to a doorframe and which, after capturing the striker at a predetermined movement position of the door, moves and assists a rotating body to move to a final movement end position. The striker is supported by a support arm, and the support arm is mounted on a base such that vertical and lateral positions can be adjusted by an adjustment means, the base being installed on the door.
